Based on the 22 FIRE WOLF, which improved upon the versatility of the 16 FIRE WOLF, this model has been converted into a center-cut 2-piece rod.
It features a medium-modulus solid tip that is stiffer than the 16 modelāso much so that it can be mistaken for a tubular tipāwhile the tubular section has been upgraded to a higher modulus regular fast taper. This allows precise control of high-resistance underwater rigs like rubber jigs without the tip feeling sluggish, while also providing high sensitivity and responsiveness that conveys subtle underwater changes directly to the anglerās hand, something conventional tubular tips often miss.
Additionally, it excels at slack-line retrieves and āfeeling the biteā with wirebaits, and most notably, its crankbait compatibility has been dramatically improved.
By retaining the performance of the 22 FIRE WOLF while adopting a center-cut 2-piece design, portability is enhanced.
